All persons using the sauna, cold plunge, do so at their own risk.

If you have any reservations regarding use, such as medical conditions, underlying health problems, the use of prescription drugs or pregnancy, it is essential that you consult a physician before making a booking. By signing this waiver you understand the risks and have consulted any necessary medical professionals.

You understand and take full responsibility for your own health and well-being. 

Alcohol, nudity, smoking and vaping are not permitted in the facility.

Any jewellery should be removed before using the sauna and/or ice baths.

No person under the age of 16 is permitted to use the sauna or cold water tanks.Sauna etiquette must be adhered to at all times. This includes:

• Sauna sessions should last no longer than 20 minuted at a time.
  • Anything beyond that can put you at risk of heatstroke, dehydration, or fainting.
  • First time sauna users should not use the sauna for more than 10 minutes at a time.
• Drinking plenty of water before, during, and after sauna session.
• Following instructions on how to pour water onto hot rocks.
• Entering and exiting the sauna promptly.
• Entering and exiting sauna in safe manner.
• Ensuring the sauna door is closed upon entrance or exit.
• Keeping access points clear to allow other users to exit safely and swiftly if needed.
• Exit immediately if you feel nausea, dizzy, or uncomfortable.

All persons using the ice baths do so at their own risk.

It is your own responsibility to ensure that you are capable and can handle being exposed to the cold temperatures and varying conditions of the water in the ice baths.

The entry to the cold water tanks can be slippery. Take extra precaution on entrance and exit from the ice baths.

Ensure you're taking care as you walk to and from the sauna as it may be slippery.

Anyone under the age of 18 using the sauna and/or cold plunge must be accompanied by an adult.

Bring your own towel or robe for drying purposes.

Towels are available for purchase, but not to hire in the health spa.

If you are making this booking on behalf of a group, it is your responsibility to make all users aware of the terms and conditions and to practice safe sauna use, sign this form, and make sure others are aware of what to bring and other useful information.

Indemnification:

The undersigned agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Recovery Cardiff Ltd, its agents, employees, and representatives from and against any and all losses, damages, injuries, claims, demands, lawsuits, costs, and expenses arising out of or related to the use of the sauna, cold plunges or any activities conducted on the premises, including but not limited to legal fees and costs.

Recovery Cardiff Ltd reserves the right to refuse admission to intoxicated persons or for other reasons that may be deemed a health and safety risk.

Refunds will not be offered to anyone refused admission.

I acknowledge and accept the risks inherent in the use of the sauna, cold plunges provided by Recovery Cardiff Ltd.

I voluntarily assume the risk of injury, accident or death, which may arise from the use of the sauna or cold tub. I and any of my heirs, executors, representatives or assigns hereby release from all claims or liabilities for personal injury or property damages of any kind sustained while on the premises, during the use of the sauna and/or cold tubs and from any advice provided by an employee, independent contractor or any representative of Recovery Cardiff Ltd.
